On January 7, 2026, we announced the launch postponement of MICHIBIKI No. 7, Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZS-7) aboard H3 Launch Vehicle flight No.9. However, as further investigation into the launch failure of H3 Launch Vehicle flight No.8 and an evaluation of its impact on subsequent launch vehicles remain necessary, the launch will not be conducted within the initially designated launch window, which was set through March 31, 2026.
We are continuing our efforts to determine the cause of H3 Launch Vehicle flight No.8 launch failure. The new launch schedule will be announced once confirmed.
